Event for students interested in psychology

KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University undergraduate students interested in learning more about a degree in psychology have the opportunity to attend a free open house Friday, Oct. 9, regarding steps to take toward a degree and careers.

The event, "Getting a Degree in Psychology: Steps You Should Be Doing and What to Do With Your Degree," is at 4 p.m. in Room 1718 Wood Hall and is sponsored by WMU Psychology Undergraduate Advising. The event will be followed by a pizza social sponsored by Psi Chi National Honor Society.

Attendees will find out what activities they should be doing their freshman, sophomore, junior and senior years and get advice from psychology professors Drs. Lisa Baker, Amy Damashek, Alyce Dickinson, Wayne Fuqua and Richard Malott.
