KALAMAZOO--Oliver Street, between Stadium Drive and Oakland Drive, on Western Michigan University's East Campus will be closed to through traffic for reconstruction May 1 through the end of August.

Parking lot No. 95, at the Campus Services Building, and No. 10, behind Waldo Stadium, will be closed throughout the construction period. Parking lot No. 11, behind the Little Theatre; No. 12, next to Spindler Hall; and No. 17, behind the University Medical and Health Science Center, will have access from a one-block section of Oliver that will remain open to Oakland Drive.

Loading docks to both the Campus Services Building and University Medical and Health Science Center will remain accessible, but advanced notification of deliveries will be required.

During construction, drivers will need to detour on Stadium and Oakland to either Howard Street to the south or to Eddies Lane and Lovell Street to the north. Eddies Lane is a short street connecting east-bound Stadium to south-bound Oakland. Lovell Street connects north-bound Oakland to west-bound Stadium.
